You will be missed

An all time Patriot great Troy Brown will not be back next season:
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, out of courtesy to Brown, the Patriots recently informed the 15-year veteran, who is a free agent, that he was not in their immediate plans and that if he was interested in returning for a 16th NFL season he was free to field offers from other teams.- boston.com
He will be missed. The play that stands out in my mind is the Playoff game vs the Chargers two years ago , making the strip and saving the Pats season. That play stands for everything that Troy Brown was: He never quit, he could go both ways and he always came up with big plays. I could see Troy on the Patriots coaching staff when he decides he does not want to play anymore.
Doug Mirabelli
Doug Mirabelli was released today. He stuck around because of Wakefield but the Sox feel like Kevin Cash can now fit into that spot. Cash is a great defensive Catcher but a horrid offense player, sounds like Mirabelli to me. So why not stick with Mirabelli over Cash, Why anger Wakefield and take him off his game, as we saw last year with out Mirabelli? Mirabelli is cheap, a better catcher for Wakefield and as sad as it is- a comparable offensive player. Well see how Cash works out we all hope its not the same as last year.
