According to ESPN the Sowx have reached a minor league deal with Bartolo Colon. The former Cy Young winner had his worst year last year going 6-8 with a 6.43 era. The mets were going to sign him earlier in the year but he didnt pass his physical so we will see how this works out. Its worth a shot hoping he can contribute in some way.

A minor league deal for Colon in a season where Carlos Silva gets $50 Mil???? I’ll take it. Imagine he’s healthy come playoff time? the answer is Carlos Silva is an incredibly underrated pitcher in an inflated market. Bartolo Colon is a walking buffet table. There’s a difference.
