Last night I attended the URI/ Xavier game. The Ryan Center was rocking from the start. It was one of the most electric atmospheres Ive attended. The Dunkin Donuts Center (Providence College) was a library compared to the Ryan Center. The student section was rocking and stayed to the last second. Even down by double digits in the first half the fans chanted and cheered as hard as they could. This sparked a second half run where URI was up by 3. Eventually Xavier led by J. Ducan, who did not miss a shot, pulled out a four point victory. This was the way College Basketball should be!
-The Rams have now lost two of three and have a HUGE game vs Umass to strengthen their position for the NCAA tourney. Who ever wins this game has the advantage going forward.
